Blood and Silver
Creature Type: Garou
Image: A relatively tall Native American man in his late fifties, with an average but firmly muscled build and long, white hair. Oddly enough, he’s also managed to grow a full beard, making him appear very much like a wizened guru.
His furred forms look strikingly like Shepherd’s, insofar as being large and solidly black save for the salt-and-pepper spots of age.
The man now known as Father Jo He VaH or simply “Father” was once known as a remarkably fierce and overly militant sort of Philodox, suffering no affront or insult to his native Cayuga people if he could stop it with a brutal slash of his claws. Even his native tribe found him to be too great of a firebrand, threatening to bring unwanted attention down upon them by human agencies. Growing disgusted with his peoples’ complacence, he stormed away from the Sept and disappeared into the Canadian wilds.
No one is entirely certain what happened to him there, or why he returned a changed man, but it was immediately clear that he had found a peace and happiness other Garou couldn’t fathom. Eschewing his peoples’ immediate battles, he gathered up misfits from many tribes, bringing them together with a score of humans to form the Blissful Friends Network with The Smiling One serving as their very involved totem spirit.
The pack first met with him after Samuel Haight came to visit, informing them that he was Shepherd‘s father and that he and his pack were taking up territory near Montauk. When it was discovered he was in the same location as the odd spiritual quiet’s source near their borders, they decided to meet with him. He seemed every ounce the welcoming host, urging them into his home amidst student housing at the Stony Brook University and introducing them to the Smiling One in hopes that they too would join his Network.
