Blood and Silver
Johnathan van Landingham
Creature Type: Garou
Location: North Country Protectorate
Tribe: Silver Fangs
Rank: 4 (Athro)
Known Abilities: The standard strengths, Gifts and regenerative qualities of a Changing Breed.
Image: Devastatingly handsome and always seen in a designer suit, Johnathan could embody the very image of a Silver Fang with his long, blonde hair that’s gone grey at the temples and an immaculately well-groomed short beard and mustache. He’s aged, but those years seem to have left him looking carved of solid ivory rather than worn down.
Born at the heart of the tribe’s European aristocracy, Johnathan grew up with every advantage. His was a world of private schools and careful etiquette lessons. There, he and his fellow Kinfolk heard endless lectures on the great and glorious history of the Silver Fangs. Even so, he was uninspired. All the talk of past glories bored him beyond reason. He prayed every day that he would make the Change, so he could get out and say goodbye to every last inbred one of them.
His prayers were answered soon enough, and his Change was celebrated throughout his family. The enthusiasm didn’t last forever, as he soon displayed a certain lack of followthrough, a depressing characteristic for one of his tribe. Tired of disappointed stares, he packed up and moved himself to the Americas in search of something more stimulating.
Johnathan’s family tree can be traced nearly as far as the Progenitor Wolf. Silver fang blood doesn’t get more pure than his, which means expectations are ridiculously high for him. Unfortunately, his inherent ennui (likely his derangement) left him unable to enjoy his station or privileges. So now he seeks whatever task is most diverting and entertaining, having proven incredibly well versed at manipulating situations to his own advantage.
As Grandfather to Janice van Landingham, Joseph found himself confronting Jules “Against-All-Odds” Scranton over the impromptu relationship between them, and of course the three children that resulted. He arrived to test the purity of their blood before departing, promising to return to see to their care. – Summer Snow
